The stainless steel head was created by fabricating a horse head in plain steel. The steel is hammered, carved, and welded together with a mig welder utilizing a continuous steel wire feed triggered by a welding gun. The steel horsehead was 3D scanned, 3D printed and finally cast in stainless steel using an ancient technique of lost wax casting.
